Prayer for First Thing in the Morning
Good morning, Lord!
Thank You for a new day. Thank You that Your compassion is renewed every morning. Great is Your faithfulness and Your steadfast love, O Lord!
I don’t know what all is going to happen today, and how much I’ll get done, but You do. So I give this day to You.
Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, Father. Energize me for Your work, because You know how tired these bones are. Awaken me to the wonder of Your salvation, and quicken my spirit to the reality of Your work in my life.
Lord, my mind is filled with creative ideas, but they’re all jumbled. Holy Spirit, come and hover over my mind like You hovered over the waters at creation and speak order out of the chaos! Help me to cease striving and to trust that You will give me all I need today to do the work You’ve given me to do.
You will be faithful to complete the good work You’ve started, and as I step out into my day, I declare Your sovereignty over every area of my life. I entrust myself to You and ask that You use me however You see fit.
This day is Yours. My body is Yours. My mind is Yours. Everything I am is Yours. May You be pleased with me today. Amen.
Prayer for the Gift of a New Day
Wonderful Father, full of mercy and grace. I give you praise for counting me worthy to witness another day on this earth. Thank you, Heavenly Father, for the gift of a new day.
Lord, I laid down, slept in peace and woke up safely, because you were watching over me. You kept me all through the night, even till this morning. I go into today with a heart of thanksgiving. I love you God for all that you have done for me! Amen.

Prayer for Guidance throughout the day
Lord, thank you for a great night’s rest and the opportunity to stand here today. Today is another day that you have made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.
Lord, I know you love me. Your word makes me understand the depth of your love for me, and I thank you for this boundless love.
Lord, I ask for your unfailing guidance, as I step out in search of my daily bread today. Let your mighty hands of protection and strength cover me as I walk through today. Thank you because I am safe in your hands. Amen.
Morning Prayer for Strength
Lord, I am weary and don’t know when this “race” will end in my life. I feel like I’ve been running forever, trying to outrun this trial. Help me to stop trying to outrun my pain but rather run with endurance the race you have set before me.
I know that because of you I am ultimately a victor over the trials in my life. I know that nothing in this world can separate me from your steadfast love. Please give me a measure of your love today; give me the strength to endure this trial.

Morning Prayer for Hope Today
Lord, help me to hear you saying, “I am your hope” over all the other voices. Lord, your word says, you are the hope for hopeless so I’m running to you with both hands stretched out and grabbing on to you.
Fill me up with hope and give me a tangible reminder today that hope is an unbreakable spiritual lifeline (Hebrews 6:19-20). God, you know those things in my heart that I barely dare to hope for, today I give them to you, I trust them to you, and ask that you because I know that you can do more than I could ever guess, imagine or request in wildest dreams (Eph 3:20).

Prayer for Divine Assistance
Father Lord, I feel like a million tons of weight is hanging over my head right now. I feel exhausted, stressed and overwhelmed, even though I just woke up. My heart is racing.
This burden on my shoulder is way too heavy for me to carry alone. Lord, I need you now more than ever. I can no longer pretend like I can help myself.
As I go out today, show yourself strong for me. My God is all-powerful and is able to do immeasurably more than all I ask or imagine.
So, today Lord, help me to safely anchor myself to you. Help me to recognize and accept your divine help when I see it today. I receive the grace to depend on you and not on myself. Amen.

Dear Merciful Father, thank you for those you have surrounded me with. They have been a blessing to me and I want this great blessing to continue for a long time.
Lord, my prayer today is that your hand of divine protection and guidance will fall mightily on my relatives, in Jesus’ name. As they go out and carry out their different assignments, bring home safely.
I thank you for their lives all these years and I pray that you will be a present help to them every moment of their lives. Amen.
Praying for Positive Influences
There is a reason you brought me to this new day, Lord. Shine brightly through me so that everyone that comes across me today may feel your presence in me.
Take my hand, Lord and teach me to do that which is right. As I step out today, let lives and destinies be blessed by my words and actions.
I refuse to be used to denigrate, insult or disrespect people today. I uplift, motivate and bless lives. Amen.
Morning Prayer for Strength
Dear Father, I humble myself this morning and I ask for your strength. Lord uphold me with your right hand in this world of grave temptations.
By my strength I cannot do it, I need the strength that only you give.
The strength to say “No” to sin and temptations. The strength to choose and do that which is right.
And, as I go through this trying period, create in me a pure heart, O God. Renew a steadfast spirit within me. In Jesus’ mighty and powerful name I pray, Amen.

I entrust all my family members into your mighty hand. As they go out into the world today, be with them. At the end of today, Lord God, bring us all back together.
